Sock *Abraxia*

The sock *Abraxia* has a fascinating Matrix-style pattern - an easy-to-knit slip stitch cable techniques. The design requires 2 different sockyarns, preferably one variegated, one solid-coloured. The prominent solid colour forms graceful, bold arches against the colourful background.
Even though the pattern looks impressive, it is rather easy to knit: In each round, only one colour is used. The colour changes after each round. The cables/twists consist of two stitches only and can be easily worked without a cable needle.
Instructions for heel and toe are not included; these are worked according to your preference. The pattern is charted.

Size: EU 38-41 / US 7.5-9.5 / UK  5-7
Yarn: 4ply / fingering / sockyarn, in 2 colours
Needle size: 2,0 - 2,5 mm (US 0 - 1,5)
Yardage: approx. 200 m (220 yd) of each colour
Skill level: 2-3 (1 easy – 5 difficult)
