Angular shawl *Melusina*

The shawl *Melusina* is worked from the shoulderline outward in one piece. Parts of it are worked with double thread, other parts are worked with single thread. This change creates interesting colour effects. The shawl ends in a beautiful knitted edging.

*) The shawl is partially worked 1-ply and partially 2-ply (with the thread held double). The yarn has to be wound in cake style to make sure that you can use the thread from the inside and the outside of the cake. Alternatively, use 2 cakes or balls of yarn.
