Sock *Maxi*

A sock design for Newbies to the Matrix Style. The sock *Maxi* has a simple Matrix style pattern - an easy-to-knit slip stitch cable technique. The design requires 2 different sockyarns, either both solid-coloured or one solid, one variegated. The pattern is easy to knit: In each round, only one colour is used. The colour changes after each round. The cables/twists consist of two stitches only and can be easily worked without a cable needle.
Instructions for heel and toe are not included; these are worked according to your preference. The pattern is charted.

Size: EU 39-41/ US 8-10,5 / UK  6-9,5, but variable
Yarn: 4ply / fingering / sockyarn, in 2 colours, at least one of them solid
Needle size: 2,0 - 2,5 mm (US 0 - 1,5)
Yardage: approx. 190 m (207 yds) per colour
Skill level: 2 (1 easy – 5 difficult)
